NUPRI Dining Armchair
Nupri means “Mountains” in the Ainu language. The structure and material of the dining chair is designed to support the body comfortably. The wooden frame made of Japanese oak has an integrated form from the backrest to the armrest and legs, as if it is a part of the body.

Toshiyuki Kita, born in 1942, has worked world-widely like in Italy, Germany, and Japan on many projects to design various products such as furniture, home electronics, robots, etc., based on his motto: Design is to harmonize all the conditions. Recently, he focuses more on the themes related to sustainability. Some of his works were selected in the permanent collections of world-famous museums like MoMA.

● About Molded Urethane Foams
A molded foam, a technical method, is made by filling a mixture of raw materials to compound in a shaping mold.
This method helps creating ideal fine lines and fluffiness which add variety in designs.
It is able to produce one-piece molding with built in flame also save raw materials. The biggest benefit of it is that the long lasting comfort.
