NUPRI Living Reclining Chair

This reclining chair features cushioning that has just the right amount of resilience, arms to support the seated person while standing up, and reclining functions with which the angle can be set at any arbitrary point. A special aspect of this chair is that it comes with side tables on each side of the arm. The side tables are designed to suit a contemporary lifestyle of carrying around smartphones and electronic devices, with the edges slightly raised to prevent things from falling off.

Toshiyuki Kita, born in 1942, has worked world-widely like in Italy, Germany, and Japan on many projects to design various products such as furniture, home electronics, robots, etc., based on his motto: Design is to harmonize all the conditions. Recently, he focuses more on the themes related to sustainability. Some of his works were selected in the permanent collections of world-famous museums like MoMA.
