QUIET Living (21) Long Seat L(R)

This modern Japanese style sofa is designed by Fumio Enomoto, in line with the Japanese image: organizing, compact, and quiet. Feathers are partially used in the seat cushions to increase comfort. The cushions and sofa itself can be made in different fabrics or leather to satisfy all tastes.

Designer

Fumio Enomoto

Fumio Enomoto, born in 1957, establishing his own studio in 1986, working with many makers, teaching in some colleges, winning the Bronze-leaf award of IFDA in 2008 and 2011, and ranked in the best 100 designers of Good Design Award. Currently, his interest is in forestry diversification, especially desiging products made of cedar, pine, and bamboo to make use of softwood more effectively.

A molded foam, a technical method, is made by filling a mixture of raw materials to compound in a shaping mold.
This method helps creating ideal fine lines and fluffiness which add variety in designs.
It is able to produce one-piece molding with built in flame also save raw materials. The biggest benefit of it is that the long lasting comfort.
