Ice and Snow Leads to ‘Secret World’ ICE STAR HOTEL x CONDE HOUSE

“HOKKAIDO ICE STAR HOTEL -KOMAOKA- “, a special event CONDE HOUSE cosponsored, stared on January 14th (Sat) until February 26th (Sun) in Sapporo.
The event represents the winter and life in the northern country by a theme ‘Ice and Art’ in South ward (Minami-ku), Sapporo. It is a phenomenon rediscovery of Hokkaido’s ‘seeing’, ‘tasting’ and ‘playing’.
In one of the building, an installation ‘Nen-Rin (design by Kazunori Matsumura)expressing a history of Conde House and ‘ Barca Lunge Chair’ the Gold Leaf Award winning work of ‘International Furniture Design Fair Asahikawa (IFDA)’ are exhibited. IFDA is a trieteric furniture competition that has been held as a platform for designers from the world to interact since 1990.
It introduces our international market development and IFDA marks the10th competition this year. It is a mystic art exhibition collaborating with wood, ice and snow under the open sky.
You cannot see anywhere else but only here. It is a visional winter event to be seen only in this northern country. ICE STAR HOTEL is the event you must visit this year.
