New shop launch – Our Chinese dealer, Chairman, has launched a huge shop in Shanghai.

Chairman International Group is a furniture retailer specializing in Japanese furniture, and they launched a huge shop of about 3,000 square meters at a shopping mall in Shanghai on September 4th.

The shopping mall is “Yuexing International Home Furnishings” of Yuexing Group based in Shanghai. The mall is located near M50, a high profile art town, and has received a lot of attention as a re-development area near the Shanghai station.
The display area of CONDE HOUSE is about 500 square meters out of 3,000, where more than 250 items including our brand new product, “TEN”, are displayed.

Present at the opening ceremony of the shop are about 300 visitors and reporters from 25 media including Shanghai TV stations.
The ceremony was a grand event: Mr. Wang, the president of Chairman, delivered an opening address; the representatives of Japanese furniture manufactures were introduced; Beijing opera was given at the end.

This would be another head start for Chairman to disseminate the craftsmanship and design of Asahikawa furniture to the Chinese market.

About Chairman
It was established in Beijing in February, 2014, as a furniture retailer specializing in Japanese furniture, introducing the items of Hida Sangyo and Nissin Furniture through some furniture exhibitions. In 2015, CONDE HOUSE was added to its lineup.
Chairman started from two shops in Beijing, launched another one in December, 2015, in Shenzhen, and is finally going into the Shanghai market.
