Every piece of the dining chair looks to be splintered and connected to make one chair, which is the origin of the name, Splinter. This collection won the Good Design Award in Japan in 2014. An additional model to Splinter collection designed by Oki Sato from nendo. The chair shell is upholstered with special thick leather supplied by a sole Japanese saddle maker, SOMÈS SADDLE. The high grade leather makes its back view more beautiful.
