We delivered approximately 500 pieces of furniture, including original designs, to the “KADOMADO” Cultural Creation Library in Kadoma City, Osaka Prefecture. As part of a joint venture with designer Ryuki Kokubo, we were responsible for the design, production, and selection of the furniture for this project, which aimed to create “a space that harmonizes with the architecture and will be cherished by citizens for generations to come.”
The library features pieces such as the “Furukawa Bench,” inspired by the Furukawa River that flows through Kadoma City, and the “Kadoma Map Table,” designed to foster a sense of connection to the local community, catering to a variety of usage scenarios. We were responsible for creating a space where people can gather, interact, and feel comfortable.
